Charlotte & Lambert

Lambert the sheepish lion.

Today is Charlotte’s birthday (6/7/1993). Lambert entered Charlotte’s life when she was two. Lambert has never left Charlotte’s side.

One time Charlotte and her mother came to University Hospitals of Cleveland for an appointment or visit. I was an orthopedic resident at the hospital. Somehow Charlotte and Lambert got separated in the atrium. I remember searching all over the hospital for Lambert.

Lambert with great relief was found. Charlotte and Lambert have since traveled the world together and now happily reside in Newport.

Homepark

2621 Homepark Ave. Altadena, CA. ~December 1962

In February 2020 Michelle and I stayed in Altadena for 4 days. We visited places where I spent time growing up. My grandfather, Stanley C. Anderson, lived at Homepark. Starting when I was 4 or 5, I spent most weekends here. Sunday afternoon my grandfather would drive me home. We always had to stop at Station 3 on Lake Ave in Pasadena so I could look at the fire engines.
